A few months ago we moved to a new state (from Western WA to Southern ID). It was a big and fun change. We are in such an exciting time of our lives! We didn’t move far in the over all scheme of things, about 9 hours in the car. But, when you pack up and move to a place where you know NO one, it seems like a world away!

There are some differences in living in a new state that I didn’t expect, nor even think about. Strange, odd things. Such as, parade etiquette: totally different here. My usually bone straight hair: has a fun new (albeit very slight) wave to it. Way more people smoke here: we had to talk to the kids about the dangers of smoking, for the first time ever. I am a lazy licenser (is that even a word?!): business, drivers, vehicle. It’s been 4 months and I haven’t changed any of them over. I’m pretty sure I’ve past the deadline. Bad me.
I am thoroughly enjoying the experience of learning about the nuances of our new home town. Fun times!
To new things & happy numbers,
Holly
