About Me

Me in a nutshell…
I like laughing with my boys, even numbers, cookie dough, learning about Jesus, sunshine & warm weather make me giddy, I’m terrible at spelling, I waste too much time on the internet, I’m awesome at putting together Ikea furniture and I use WAY too many exclamation points!…!!!

The longer story…
I live in Southern Idaho with my amazing husband and two beautiful little boys. I am a work at home mom. My boys, all three!, are fun and busy! This business is my opportunity to maintain my position as majority care taker of our boys, and still exercise that business and accounting itch I just can’t shake. I work out of my dedicated home office, which allows me to get the job done (in a timely and efficient manner I may add)!

I have a BA in Accounting and a Master’s in Business. I have over 10 years of office experience and over 6 years of professional accounting experience. I’ve worked in manufacturing, non-profit and small business, so I more than likely have the experience you need. I also have a great support network, for those times that I just don’t have the answer, I can get it!

After 6 good years, I left the corporate world to become a full time mommy. WOW, was that an adjustment I didn’t expect to have such a hard time with. About a year later, I started dabbling with a couple different business ideas. I started selling cards on Etsy, which was a great experience. During this time I was able to really learn a lot about using Etsy in business and my eyes were opened to a whole indie business world.  I had been forever enlightened. But after all of that, I really missed doing accounting. After all, I am a numbers girl at heart! So, I set out to bring my accounting to indie. Result: Accounting SPOT.
